Our Company
Acabats del Bages S.A. was founded by Parés Boj family in 1988.
At the beginning, our facilities were focused on fashion fabrics business. Cotton was the
main fiber in processed fabrics, employing renovated machinery and offering fast service
for dyeing, printing and finishing demands from our customers.
Years later, we started to finish fabrics for another markets. For this purpose, the company
has invested in technical and technological innovation through new machines and
procesess.
Nowadays, we finish fabrics present in fashion, children’s, technical, workwear and
footwear markets.
A company that respects the environment
Our concern for this aspect means that we continually invest in the research and implementation of new techniques and products to minimize the environmental impact.
ACABATS DEL BAGES, S.A., has received aid of 206,468 € for its energy savings and efficiency project “Increasing the energy efficiency of the steam installations of a textile finishing company” through the INSTITUTE FOR ENERGY DIVERSIFICATION AND SAVING ( IDAE), aid co-financed by the European Union through the FEDER Operational Program for Smart Growth 2014-2020. The essential objective of the project is the replacement of three old, low-performance steam boilers with three new high-efficiency steam generators. This action has meant Finishes del Bages, S.A. carry out an investment of 785,728 €
